HERE'S WHAT THE MARKET IS TELLING US

We're going to break down today the headlines, the stats, the trends, everything I'm seeing out there in the life of a realtor in the Santa Cruz market. I'm sure here in Santa Cruz County, you've heard that real estate inventory is maybe low or prices are up. Basically, all of that is true. Inventory is not lower than it's been the last few years. It's just that our buyers are soaking up our inventory faster than ever. So it's creating this feeling of a low inventory and that's, creating the higher prices. But more importantly, it's the life work balance that's really creating this. People want that in their lives. And we're so connected here to Silicon Valley, where major employment is commutable. And so they're saying we can live here. We can go for our walks in the morning by the beach, we can take a hike up in the mountains, go ride our mountain bike. All these things are just are possible, and you can still go to work later that afternoon. Or maybe this is just your weekend plans, but this is kind of the lifestyle that we're seeing trending, and we just were featured, the chief economist of Realtor.com just posted our Santa Cruz Market in the top 10 in the nation. And this is the main reason why.
