CHECKING ONLY 4-5 BOXES FOR BUYERS?

Today’s buyer is looking for homes that check 7-8 out of 10 boxes, so what’s happening to those that are in the 4-5 range? The trend towards getting immediate results and instantaneous gratification has now impacted the housing market. And that’s why move-in-ready homes have a short shelf life until they get scooped up…people are busy, don’t feel like dealing with contractors and spending weekends going back and forth to Home Depot so they’re desperately wanting to enjoy their investment and get something that they can enjoy right away. That’s leaving many slightly outdated to majorly outdated homes on the market for multiple months vs. 1-3 weeks in the move-in ready arena.
